GreenField Communication is an online communications company specialising in the development, maintenance and monitoring of dynamic and engaging websites powered by social media.
Our History
GreenField was founded by Richard Crosby who, while working at the London headquarters of The Brunswick Group, Europe’s leading financial public relations firm, noticed a shift in the communications needs of some of the world’s most influential organisations. Traditional media such as print, radio and television were still top of mind, however many organisations were becoming increasingly concerned with how social media might impact their reputations. Many of the same organisations were also eager to discover how social media could help them deliver their messages and engage with their audiences.
GreenField Communication was started with a vision to offer premier website development services with total social media integration to third sector organisations.
What We Do
In essence, our work involves the development, maintainence and monitoring of websites and social media channels for our clients.
Upon commissioning, we work directly with our clients, helping them prepare their content and determining an appropriate design and layout. The entire development process is transparent and clients are able to review the website while its under development and advise us on anything from design to the content itself.
Our work doesn’t stop once we launch a website. Using detailed analytics, we closely monitor how visitors are finding our websites and how they are performing. This allows us to advise clients about any recommended changes that should be made that may improve the visitors’ experience.
Some clients prefer to update their websites themselves and others prefer to send us the content to add for them. The choice is yours and we are always available to lend a hand.
Who We Work With
Most of our work is with small to medium sized charities, faith based organisations and other non-profits. We have also consulted for a number of UK based companies seeking to improve how they communicate online.
The Social Media Advantage
It’s not enough to have a great website. Community is what really matters. The best websites allow visitors to subscribe to one or more of the available social media options, which allow them to become part of an online community that you can contact any time. These social media channels may include an email subscription option, RSS feeds, Facebook or Twitter.
By helping integrate social media into their websites, we are able to ensure that when our clients have a message to deliver, they also have an established audience to deliver it to.
We’ve written a more detailed article about how charities can benefit from what social media have to offer. You can read it here.
